We’re Makano—a father-daughter duo blending 30 years of manufacturing expertise with modern design innovation. Born from a shared passion for home utility and furniture, we’re not just building products—we’re building a purpose: to empower Indian homes with proudly made-in-India solutions. We’re here to challenge the drop shipping norm with quality, care, and ideas that just make sense.
Ever since I graduated from University with a Btech in Mechanical, I have constantly designed and explored utility, and furniture designs out of pure interest. Exploring new concepts soon turned into creating tangible products, thanks to the guidance and manufacturing expertise my father has built over 30 years. We both saw an opportunity to start a D2C business in utility and furniture, and thus, Makano Store came into existence.
The first ever product of our brand - Makano Store - M001 took shape from a problem I had faced in my own home. Too many clothes and no space to dry them!

The Vision of this brand is still young, but our aim is to build a brand that promotes Make in India movement, which creates a place for innovative, modular, and cost-effective utility and furniture items.
